Location: float to multiple offices in the metro Atlanta area
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm

Your Impactful Role
As a Biologics Program Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining and expanding our biologics/regenerative medicine service line. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing patient outcomes and driving research initiatives within our organization.

  • Coordinate procedures and appointments with physicians, patients, and vendors to ensure seamless delivery of biologics services.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for vendors/reps, maintaining strong relationships and staying abreast of industry advancements.
  • Provide comprehensive support to patients, addressing inquiries regarding clinical application, pricing, and procedures, and facilitating care coordination.
  • Manage consent forms for biologics procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee procurement, stocking, and inventory management of all biologics program supplies.
  • Facilitate proper billing procedures for biologics and injectables, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct staff training on EMR documentation, authorization processes, and proper use of biologics equipment.
  • Maintain the biologics lab, ensuring equipment functionality, sterility, and inventory control.
  • Assist providers during biologics procedures and perform post-procedure care duties, including dressing changes and patient education.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA standards regarding bloodborne pathogens and biohazardous waste management.
  • Manage patient entry and compliance in patient-reported outcomes tools for research purposes.
  • Support research initiatives through data collection and analysis, contributing to ongoing advancements in biologics/regenerative medicine.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a lab or clinic within a healthcare setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, Pre-Med) or equivalent certification (RN, LPN, phlebotomist). Prior phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Program management experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficient computer skills and excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving responsibilities.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

  • American Heart Association's Certification - BLS Certified.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a science field and/or Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Lab Technician, or Certified Phlebotomist.
  • Continuing education and license renewal requirements apply.
