Your Impactful Role

The Talent Acquisition Manager will develop and execute strategic recruitment initiatives to attract and retain top talent for the orthopedic clinic. This role oversees the full-cycle recruitment process, manages employer branding efforts, and ensures a seamless candidate experience. The Talent Acquisition Manager will work closely with hiring managers, optimize recruitment workflows, and lead a team of recruiters to support the clinic’s staffing needs.

Responsibilities

  • Determines current staffing needs and produces forecasts.
  • Develops talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans.
  • Leads employment branding initiatives.
  • Performs sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs.
  • Plans and conducts recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls, etc.).
  • Takes steps to ensure positive candidate experience.
  • Assists in employee retention and development.
  • Supervises recruiting personnel.
  • Leads and mentors a team of recruiters, providing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborates with HR and leadership on workforce planning, compensation strategies, and retention initiatives.
  • Stays informed about healthcare industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Manage team members and resources dedicated to talent acquisition. 
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to staff, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and best practices in healthcare recruitment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruitment data and drive strategic hiring decisions.
  • Leadership and team management skills to guide and develop a high-performing recruitment team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Experience in healthcare recruitment, particularly for clinical roles such as physicians, nurses, and therapists, is preferred.
  • Previous experience managing employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives is a plus.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally for filing or retrieving records.

Work Environment

  • The work environment is primarily office-based, with moderate noise levels.
  • Occasional travel may be required for training or organizational initiatives.
